Why do I Need to Complete Identity Verification

Modified on Thu, 14 Dec, 2023 at 11:35 AM

Hata requires users to complete Identity Verification to improve user’s account security. Please refer to "How to Complete Identity Verification, A step-by-step guide" under Account Functions section in the FAQ if you have not completed the verification process.

If you are experiencing problems with withdrawals, please refer to the following reasons or solutions:

  1. You are accessing your account from multiple different IP addresses

If you are accessing your account from multiple IP addresses, Hata’s system will deem it as “suspicious activity” and will temporarily suspend withdrawals from your account to protect your assets.

Please contact Hata's customer support by submitting a ticket on Hata's Helpdesk or send an email to support@hata.io to verify your identity.

  1. You have not completed face verification

If you have not completed face verification (selfie) in Identity Verification, you will not be allowed to perform withdrawals until you have completed Identity Verification.

  1. There are problems with your Identity Verification

If the information you submitted for Identity Verification is incomplete, withdrawals will be temporarily suspended for your account.

Please contact Hata's customer support by submitting a ticket on Hata's Helpdesk or send an email to support@hata.io to provide further identity verification.

  1. You have not enabled Two-Factor Authentication(2FA)

Two-factor authentication(2FA) is vital to protect your account with two factors or locks creating an additional layer of security with tools such as Google Authenticator, SMS verification and email verification.

You need to activate at least two levels of authentication before you can withdraw funds from your Hata account. Please head over to your Security section in your Profile page to enable Two-Factor Authentication.

For more information on Two-Factor Authentication, please refer to "How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication(2FA)" under Account Functions section in the FAQ.
