How to Register for a Personal Account on Hata

Signing up for a Hata account is easy! You can quickly refer to our Youtube video guide here:



Or, you can refer to our step by step guide below:


  • Open the Hata App / Website and click [Sign Up] .
  • You may select your preferred registration method either with your Email address or Google Account.


For Email Address :



  • Kindly input a valid email address and create a strong and secure password.

Note:

  • Your password must contain at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one symbol, one lowercase letter and one number.


Read Hata’s terms of service and privacy policy, click the checkbox and complete the captcha then click [Sign Up].


  • You will receive a 6-digit verification code in your email. Enter the code within 30 minutes and click [Submit].



  • After your email has been verified, you are required to enter your phone number to register for Two-Factor Authentication(2FA). Please input your phone number with your  country code (i.e:+60 123456789).



For Google Account :


  • If you select Google account as your registration method, select [Google]. A new tab will appear and redirect you to your Google Account page.

 

  • Select your preferred account to sign up with and follow the instructions to complete the Google Account registration process. 


  • Next, new users are required to perform Identity Verification by providing their basic personal information, address, occupation, proof of address, selfie and proof of wealth (for Malaysians only).
