Why Is My Deposit Address Being Retired?

Modified on Wed, 30 Jul at 1:05 PM

Hata continuously upgrades its wallet infrastructure to provide better efficiency and fund security for users. As such, we’re retiring deposit addresses and memos on the old infrastructure. (for both Hata Malaysia and Hata Global platforms)

To ensure a smooth transition, we strongly advise users to pause any crypto deposits shortly before the upgrade time and only resume after you have generated your new deposit address.

Funds deposited into expired addresses are safe and will not be lost. Users can contact Hata’s Customer Support within 30 days for assistance to credit their deposits. Do note that deposits made into expired deposit addresses would not be automatically credited.

This will affect networks for all cryptocurrencies on Hata. To obtain a new deposit address as well as a new memo (if applicable), users may log into their Hata accounts on the Hata app or website and select "Receive" on any cryptocurrency wallets.

The wallet upgrade will be scheduled on 2pm (GMT+8), 12th August 2025.
