Hata now supports using passkeys to verify your identity for most account functions across different devices. With passkeys, you are now able to use it as an alternative to Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and passwords. Passkeys enables faster and more secure verification to protect your Hata account compared to regular passwords.
How do I add a passkey on the Hata app?
To use the passkey function, please ensure that your Hata app is updated to V1.5.23 or above, and that your device's software is iOS 16 or above for Apple devices and Android OS 9 or above for Android devices.
Step 1: Log into your Hata app and navigate to your [Profile] by selecting the icon. Once your are in your [Profile], select [Security]. Finally, select [Passkeys].
Step 2: Click [Create a Passkey].
Step 3: Based on the device that you are using, select your preferred verification methods such as:
- ICloud Keychain
- USB/NFC security key
- Another device
- Google Password Manager
Step 4: Once you have completed the required procedures, please wait for verification with your passkey.
